Probabaly you should give a try to these professional antique movers near me. These two guys were awesome-- it took them less than two hours to unload a 26ft uhaul. They were careful with our belongings and asked where everything went. Well, what can I say -fast, efficient, friendly and respectful of property.

I moved from Stanford to NYC in June 2009, using a company called New England Housing International. I think I first contacted the company's rep about 3 months in advance; she walked me through all the paperwork (insurance estimates, etc.) and made the process extremely painless. The movers will bring materials and box everything up professionally for you, which saves so much time and hassle, and they help unload as well. I'm not sure what the cost of the move was since my company paid for it directly, but if you're interested, message me and I can give you the contact info for the representative that I worked with.
