“To beat” means to wax.

Before waxing, we should wipe the dust off the surface of the furniture with cotton cloth. Like some stubborn stains, we can remove them with a little alcohol. After that, wax on wax first, then slowly spread with dry cloth evenly.

Generally speaking, the frequency of wax once a week is enough, should not be too frequent.

Furniture is always to be wiped, elm furniture is no exception.

Because of the special nature of elm furniture, it is easy to have moth events, so when wiping furniture, we can use soft cloth to follow the elm grain, in order to prevent moth, get some insect agent on the cloth at the same time.

Please remember, the clear water are NOT ALLOWED used in the maintenance process of elm furniture, we CAN’T take wet cloth to wipe furniture directly, It can make wooden furniture damp and expand, eventually deform.
