• You'll have to install Xfinity Prepaid Internet yourself, but if you've ever set up a desktop computer or television, it shouldn't be too difficult.
• Remove your starter kit's Xfinity wireless gateway/modem.
• Using the coaxial cable included in the kit, connect your wireless gateway to a coaxial wall connector. A round plug with a small wire in the center is found on the coaxial cable. To help maintain a steady wireless connection, choose a wall jack in the central place of your home.
• Using the power adapter, connect your combined router/modem to a power outlet. The power jack for the gateway will be on the backside of the device.
• Join the gateway's wireless network using your device. The password and name of your network will be printed on a sticker on the back of the gateway.
• On your device, open a web browser. Call us at Xfinity Prepaid Internet’s helpline number [phone] if your browser does not automatically redirect to Xfinity's website. Click here if your browser does not take you there automatically.
