Fentanyl patch 75 mcg

This drug is used to reduce severe and ongoing pain (for example, due to cancer). Fentanyl is in a class of drugs called opioid (narcotic) pain relievers. It works within the brain on how your body feels and reacts to pain. Do not use a fenantyl type of patch for pain relief or it will go away within a few days. This medication is not intended for topical ("as needed") use.

Fentanyl patches can take up to 24 hours to relieve pain. Other pain relievers may also be prescribed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about the safe use of fentanyl with other medications.
