I have been thinking for a long time how to speed up the process of learning a foreign language? I'm going abroad soon, and I'm worried that I won't be able to communicate with people correctly, and I'll have to live there for at least 3 weeks

Personally, I advise you to try to break down the tasks into small steps. For example, start with simple phrases and listening exercises. Regular practice is the key to success. Reading in English helps a lot: books, articles, or even news. You can also watch movies or TV series with subtitles to catch new words in context. If applications help you, then similarly to

french learning app , you can find similar resources for English, where the emphasis is on speaking skills and listening. The main thing is to take your time, and the result will definitely come!
