Is it worth exporting your used car from the USA to Canada, if you're moving from NY to Toronto?

Why not? You see, I purchased a used car from Canada and have absolutely no regrets about that. Plus, I didnt raise any money, it was rather cheap. Still, I was advised me to apply to some custom brokers for help and I chose this team https://clearit.ca/services/importing-cars. I felt as if I was their only customer---great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for customs clearance. Cheers

There tends to be a lot of taxes on buying and selling cars. At least here in Ontario, even private sales require a bunch of paper work. If you’re worried about the bureaucracy, you’re going to get it either way.

Most consumer cars that are legal in the US are legal in Canada. Transport Canada maintains a website with information on how to do the import and whether your car is ‘compatible’. You can also fill out the paper work online.

So, unless you’re done with your car, importing seems like a good move.
