Following are the latest solutions in order to resolve the QuickBooks error code 6130:

Solution 1: Use QuickBooks File Doctor to fix damaged network and Company File

  • If you don’t already have QuickBooks Tool Hubin your system, download and install the latest version of it.

  • Save the tool on your desktop and launch it using the desktop shortcut icon.
  • Open the Company File Issues tab and then select Run QuickBooks File Doctor.

  • In the File Doctor Tool window, browse and select your company file.
  • Select the Check your File (recommended) option and click Continue.
  • QuickBooks File Doctor will diagnose and fix the errors in QuickBooks programs.
  • Even if the result shows that the scan was unsuccessful, go back and try to open the company file and see if the error has been fixed.

 

Solutions 2: Rename .ND (Network Data) and .TLG (Transaction Log) File

  • Go to Windows File Manager
  • Go to the QuickBooks installation folder (C:\ Users\Public \Public Documents \Intuit\ QuickBooks\).
  • Find the files with the same name along with .ND and .TLG extension.
  • Rename the file (add .OLD at the end of the file name).
  • Save the file and open QuickBooks again to access your company file.

 

Solution 3: Restart QuickBooks Database Service on the Server

  • Open Run command on your server computer.
  • Type services.msc and press Enter.
  • From the list of services, click on QuickBooksDBXX service (XX is the version of your QuickBooks program).
  • Select the service and click Start.

  • Try to open the company file.

 

Solution 4: Uninstall and Reinstall QuickBooks Desktop

If the QuickBooks Error Code 6130 exists even after performing the four steps described herein, use Clean Install Tool to uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Desktop program.
