The Char Dham Yatra is visiting four heavenly places in Uttarakhand. They are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These four heavenly places of Hinduism are to be associated through an interstate. The Project Char Dham Mahamarg Vikas Pariyojana or Char Dham Mahamarg or Char Dham Highway is to develop the thruway. Under the venture, the streets are to be extended from 12 meters to 24 meters. It will include sidesteps, burrows, scaffolds, viaducts and trams. The streets are to be enlarged to work on the availability to the altars. Be that as it may, these regions are under the dry deciduous biome. The undertaking will evacuate vegetation during the time spent extending the streets. This will be hazardous to the biodiversity.
