If you're looking to get in shape another thing to consider is to gradually increase the difficulty of your regimen. Use math as a motivation tool. Multiply the amount of times you are lifting a weight by the mass of the weight to get your exercise number. Try to improve on that number every time you work out to give yourself a challenge and to keep yourself coming back to the gym.
