Roughly two years ago, I brought you version 1.5 of a project I've worked on for ages: the Pathfinder Epic Level Handbook, based on the old Epic level Handbook that Wizards published for D&D 3.0. Today, I'm happy to announce that version 1.6 is live! The main revision of this 185-page guide is the elimination of dead levels. The Epic Level Handbook definitely is worth the investment for the hardcore D & D player. The illustrations are phenomenal, and the book is jam packed with new rules, feats, and just about everything you will ever need to keep your quests going and going and goingwell past 20th level. The free D&D v.3.5 Accessory Update booklet provides you with a summary of the changes to the core rulebooks and the information you need to bring the Monster Manual II, Fiend Folio, Deities and Demigods, Epic Level Handbook, and the Manual of the Planes fully up to v.3.5 of the game. Along with epic magic items, epic monsters, and advice on running an epic campaign, the Epic Level Handbook also features epic NPCs from the Forgotten Realms and Greyhawk campaign settings. The Epic level magic system is of particular note, departing quite a bit from the standard D&D spell system.
