Why it said QuickBooks is unable to verify the financial institution

QuickBooks hampered by QuickBooks unable to verify the financial institution information- error?

Causes:

.Qbo file is incorrectly downloaded. 

The QBO file is imported to the Canadian version after downloading from the US version.

To resolve QuickBooks unable to verify the financial institution information- error you need to switch the banking mode to classic from the bank feed tab of the QuickBooks.
