What To Do When Your Quickbooks Is Not Working Properly

Whenever you get “QuickBooks has stopped working”, or “QuickBooks is not opening” error it is typically due to one of the following reasons: Windows operating system files are damaged. There are damaged or corrupt sectors on your hard disk. QB Desktop installation files are damaged.
Steps you can follow to restart Quickbooks:
1. If you haven't already, back up your company file.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Open the Windows Start menu, then select Control Panel.
4. Select Programs and Features then Uninstall a Program.
5. Select QuickBooks from the list of Programs, then Uninstall/Change.
6. Select Continue, or Next.
