In such case according to hp i7 laptop Remove the battery, disconnect the AC power adapter, and then press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds. Reconnect the AC power adapter (but not the battery), press the Power button, look for glowing LEDs near the caps lock and num lock keys, and listen for disc drive and fan spinning sounds.
