Hey folks, I’ve been experimenting with making a PVC bow just for fun, and I keep seeing people recommend PVC schedule 40 conduit for strength and flexibility. Has anyone actually used SCH 40 conduit for bow-making? How does it hold up under stress and repeated use?

I know the thread’s about perch holders, but just wanted to chime in with something that worked surprisingly well for me. I ended up using SCH 40 conduit as a base for some custom perch setups and it’s held up incredibly well. Lightweight, easy to cut, and strong enough for even my heavier snakes to feel secure. I ordered mine see it here at pireys.com and was honestly impressed with both the quality and how quickly it shipped. It’s meant for electrical, sure, but it works great in reptile tubs no warping, no weird smells, and easy to clean.
