There are a few ways to make Jasmine essential oil. The most common way is to steam distil the flowers. However, you can also make the essential oil by solvent extraction or CO2 extraction.

To steam distil the flowers, you need to first crush the flowers and soak them in water. Then you heat up the water until it starts boiling and is captured by a steam distillation apparatus. The steam will rise up through the plant material and dissolve the essential oil, which will then be collected in a condenser.
