Do ghostwriters get credit?

A ghostwriter from book writing company is not credited as an author (note the absence of the word "author" in the title)—in fact, she or he is referred to as a "ghost" in terms of credit. Essentially, a ghostwriter does not usually get credit for your book because the published book is solely yours when you hire one.
